The HX4 (M22520/5-01) Open Frame crimp tool uses a series of interchangeable die sets. This eliminates the need of separate fixed die crimp tools for every different application.

The HX4 uses the “Y” series die sets.
The tool has a positive ratchet assembly which controls complete handle movement in both directions.
