Description
PSC Series Skin Clamp Tool
There are many uses for temporary fasteners (often referred to as skin clamps.) These spring-loaded devices come in many shapes and sizes, and are used to position sheet metal structures or other components during the installation of permanent fasteners (such as rivets or screws).
The installation of temporary fasteners is most often done with a manual plier tool which requires sufficient handle pressure to overcome the force of the clamping spring in the compressed fastener.
The DMC pneumatic skin clamp tool takes the pressure off the operator. It is small and lightweight to allow its operation in tight places. The tip can be rotated easily to allow left or right handed operation
Features:
-
Improved production and utilization.
-
Reduces the possibility of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and related injuries to production workers.
-
Improved employee morale.
-
Reduces the possibilities of injuries or damage due to dropped tools (pliers) which are not attached to the worker or work platform.
-
The operational handle assembly and extended tips allow the basic tool to be modified to fit individual worker requirements.
-
Operates on standard shop air pressure of 80 to 120 PSI.
